Feature

This is a project promoted by WWB Corporation in Cambodia with the cooperation of the Japanese government, in response to the adoption of the public offering project for the 2019 “Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) financial support project for equipment assistance project” implemented by the Ministry of the Environment. Our hybrid power generation facility will combine JCM's first biomass that uses rice husks at a rice mill in Cambodia and solar power.

This is a project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries by utilizing advanced low-carbon technologies and to conduct measurement, reporting and verification (MRV). Along with the reduction of greenhouse gases in developing countries, we will be subsidized up to 1/2 of the initial investment cost of excellent low-carbon technologies for the purpose of achieving the greenhouse gas emission reduction targets of Japan and partner countries through the JCM.
